Put that file on your Desktop
Extract it

You should have this

Now run the Terminal and compile it

Your browser would open

Now copy the file in your home folder with a dop before the text firefox - ".firefox"

Now go to the Main Menu (System, Preferences)

Acces to Internet, Firefox and double click

In the new menu select Browse, right click, show hiden files

Go to the Folder "Firefox", and select the file named "firefox"

Now errase the Firefox logo from the panel (Right click in the logo, remove)

Go to the Main menu, Internet, right botton in Firefox, add this launcher to panel

NOW, ITS READY, IF YOU WANT TO, YOU CAN UNINSTALL THE OLD FIREFOX FROM THE SYNAPTIC, AND YOUR NEW FIREFOX 3.5 WILL KEEP WORKING. BUT YOUR LOGO WOULD'T HAVE THE MOZILLA LOGO, IT WOULD HAVE A REALLY WEIRD AND UGLY LOGO.

ANYWAY IF YOU WANT TO UNINSTALL THE OLD FIREFOX YOU CAN ACCESS TO SYNAPTIC AND REMOVE IT
